Voice search optimization means preparing clear answers to conversational questions that can be read out in one sentence, and keeping accurate the map and business listings behind “is it open, where, until when?” questions. Because the answers assistants read mostly come from search results and business listings, this service is the part of our AEO service that focuses on spoken language and local questions.
How does a spoken question differ from a typed one?
| Typed search | Spoken question | What the content needs |
|---|---|---|
| “pharmacy kadıköy on duty” | “Is there a pharmacy open right now in Kadıköy?” | Current opening hours and address |
| “boiler service price” | “How long does a boiler service take, and when should I book it?” | A one-sentence answer, then the detail |
| “ankara hotel breakfast included” | “Suggest a hotel in Ankara with breakfast and parking” | Amenities written out as text |
What does the service cover?
- Conversational question set: The question patterns customers might speak; long questions starting with “how”, “when”, “nearest”, “right now”.
- Readable answer paragraph: Under each question, a short first sentence that makes sense when read aloud on its own; the detail follows.
- Structure fit for featured answers: Google selects featured snippets automatically and offers no special markup for them[1]. So we work on question-and-answer structure and plain language rather than markup.
- Map and business listings: Opening hours, holiday hours, address and phone kept current in Google Business Profile and Apple Maps[3] listings and identical to the site.
- Local pages: Pages per branch or service area with address and hours written as text.
Do you use speakable markup?
Google’s speakable structured data was designed to mark the parts of a page suited to being read by a voice assistant. The feature is in beta, however, and according to Google it currently works only for users in the U.S. with Google Home devices set to English and for news publishers publishing in English[2].
So we don’t sell speakable markup as a visibility promise for Turkish content. If conditions change, adding it is easy; the real work is done by readable answer paragraphs and accurate business information.
How does the work proceed?
- SCAN

- BUILD

- WRITE

Question headings and answer paragraphs that make sense in one sentence.
- MEASURE

The same questions are asked again regularly; the accuracy and source of the answer read out are tracked.
Frequently asked questions
01Do you do separate work for Siri or Alexa?
We can’t decide which sources assistants use. What we do is make sure the search results and map listings those assistants may draw on contain accurate, readable information.
02How is this different from your AEO service?
AEO aims to be chosen as the source on every answer surface for a question, written or spoken. Voice search optimization is the part focused on spoken language and local questions like “is it open, where”; it is usually run together with AEO.
03Do you guarantee we will come first in voice search?
No. Featured answers and assistant answers are chosen automatically by third-party systems. Our commitment is the work and regular measurement.
